Storulvån is a mountain station in the mountains of Jämtland near Åre. Due to its location it is the natural starting point for many different mountaineering experiences both in winter and summer. There are several different Nature's Best approved ecotourism operators in the area that provide all manners of outdoor adventures and activities. The midnight sun is a natural phenomenon occurring in summer months at latitudes north of the Arctic Circle where the sun remains visible at the local midnight.
