Húsavík is a charming fishing village located in the North of Iceland. It is known as the whale watching capital of Europe, with a variety of species of whales, dolphins and porpoises to be seen in the surrounding waters.

The town is also home to the world’s first whale museum, the Húsavík Whale Museum, which offers a great insight into the history of whaling in the region. The town also has a vibrant cultural scene, with a range of galleries and museums, as well as a selection of restaurants and bars.

There are a number of outdoor activities to enjoy in the area, including hiking, fishing, and kayaking, as well as a range of boat tours to explore the surrounding coastline. Húsavík is the perfect destination for a relaxing break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
