The nature reserve of Grossjöberget
Hälsingland, SwedenIt is named after the mountain that rises 100 meters above Grossjön's surface.
Grossjöberget nature reserve consists of a hilly and varied forest area, with partly fire-marked forest, but still preserved and largely alive. Among other things, there are 300-400 year old pines that bear traces of several fires.
Inside Grossjöberget's forests there are excellent signposted paths to walk on, signs with information are also available in selected places. Free folders for the nature reserve are available at Bollnäs tourist information.
More information and a digital map are available on the County Administrative Board's website. There you will also find information about more nature reserves in our area.
