About this experience

There are 30 national parks in Sweden, one of them is Sarek with magnificent mountain ranges, glaciers and wild rapids.

It is unspoiled wilderness.

Sarek national park is a part of the Laponian area, that was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1996.

The mountain landscape of Sarek national park is the most dramatic in Sweden, and the least affected by human activity.

Nowhere else in Europe is there such a vast expanse of uninterrupted wilderness.

Sarek is not recommended for beginners. Those wishing to visit the park must have considerable alpine experience and the correct equipment and should be used to spending time outdoors.

Sarek is an inaccessible wilderness with no facilities for tourists.
