About this experience

An interesting exhibition on the life and work of Strömbacka from 1700 to 1950 provides a deeper insight into the industrial community.

The forge was completed in 1753. From 1827 and thirty years ahead, vallonforging was introduced.

Lancashireforging was reintroduced in 1944. Vallonsmidet was discontinued in 1947 and the Lancashireforging six years later.
