A pilgrimage that will take you through Söderbärke, Smedjebacken, Ludvika, Grangärde up to Trondheim. Length 800 km.

Romboleden became the name of the approximately 800 km long hiking trail that pilgrims during the Middle Ages walked from Munktorp by Lake Mälaren just east of Köping to Nidaros in Trondheim in Norway. The pilgrimages to Olav the Holy's tomb lasted until the Reformation in 1528, when these were forbidden.

The name Romboleden comes from Rombo- or Rumboland, which was the valley men's old name for the plains by Lake Mälaren. This section connects to the other roads closer to Trondheim. The trail goes through the municipalities of Smedjebacken and Ludvika up through Grangärde and further through Härjedalen with the final destination Trondheim in Norway.
