About this experience

Sletringen lighthouse was completed and lit in 1923. This replaced a smaller lighthouse who was built in 1899. The lighthouse is the tallest in Norway, 45 meters high. The lighthouse was electrified in 1962 and automated in 1993. On the island grows beach flowers of many colors, hardy plants that have embraced and stood against salt and cold sea. Availability is dependent on the weather, but the place is definitely worth a visit.
