Halten lighthouse was established in 1875, when the 29. 5 meter tall stone tower was moved from Lista. The lamp has a brightness of 1. 08 million candela and has an arch of 17. 5 nautical mil. Halten lighthouse was in 2000 protected under the Cultural Heritage Act. The lighthouse is fully automated and were unmanned in 2005.
