You can drive up the Kleivsvegen from Egelandsmyra from the main road 465 in Kvinesdal. Please note however, that the Kleivsvegen road is a very narrow, steep dirt road suitable only for cars with four wheel drive and it is not possible to use this in the winter time. For visitors without a 4WD, please park in Egelandsmyra. It is a 20 minute hike to the top of the peak if you park at the top of Kleivsvegen and if you park at Egelandsmyra, it is about 1 hour and 15 minutes. There is a post box at the top with a book where you can write your name. it is also used for geocaching. The view are amazing and you are a lot higher than the Utsikten Hotel - so remember your camera. Maps and more information can be found at the Kvinesdak Tourist Office.
