About this experience

The inland stretches of Lebesby are home to fertile forest, lakes and vast plains – paradise for fishing and hunting enthusiasts.

As you travel along the banks of Laksefjorden, you get closer to the ocean.

Kjøllefjord is unique, with its range of mountains sheltering it from the brutal force of the Arctic Ocean, and is well-known for its great fishing and king crab.

And when arriving in Kjøllefjord by boat, you are greeted by Finnkirka, a spectacular sea cliff which, according to legend, was once a sacrificial site for the Sami.

Population: 1, 400. Area, municipality: 3, 262 km².
