Seimsåsen activity center was established in 1999 to be the main construction for skiing and other outdoor activities in Årdal. Seimsåsen has also got a cabin called "Aosahytta". This cabin is possible to rent for meetings and conferences. In the winter-season the activity center has got a skiing carousel. The opening of the activity center is mostly decided by the weather condition in the wintertime, but it usually opens around 01. december.
