About this experience

On the northern part of the island of Hundvåg in Stavanger lies the idyllic promontory Lundsneset, which is ideal for relaxing walks. From the trails you can enjoy magnificent views of the mountains of Ryfylke, and see a varied coastline where the open land meets the fjord.

Also at Lundsneset is an amphitheatre that was first used by Rogaland Theatre to dramatically celebrate the surrounding landscape in 2008, during the celebration of Stavanger as a European Capital of Culture. That production was called Desse auga (These Eyes), specially commissioned from Norway's most renowned contemporary playwright, Jon Fosse.

Public transport: Take bus no. 1 to Hundvåg. Stop at Lunde school.
