About this experience

The Romsdal Museum was established in 1912 and portrays buildings and interesting interiors from the whole region.

The town street ”Bygata” shows typical Molde town houses from the pre-war period. Get a guided tour or wander around on your own.

The museum is situated in a nice park area with benches where you can relax, a duck pond and lush flower beds.

In 2016, the exhibiton center "Krona" opened with several exhibitons, Cafe, museum shop, local history library, and the "bunad" (Norwegian local costumes) department where you can see the Veøybunad beeing made. Guide on your mobile Phone.

In this area we offer audio guide. Download the Voice Of Norway app and enjoy the stories where you are. Pictures and text complement what you see.

The map gives you a full overview.
