Snowshoeing at Gålå

Gudbrandsdalen valley, Norway

About this experience

A snowshoe trip with a guide can definitely be recommended when the skis need a break.

We walk on snowshoes in the area up towards the lookout tower.

The trip bypasses the groomed tracks, and you get a good feeling of being in untouched nature.

You will thus also get closer to the animal tracks, and if we are lucky we may see a fox, a rabit or some beautiful birds.

The trip goes at dusk, so you get to experience the very special light we have in the afternoon during the winter season.

At the Tower we take a break with some snacks.
