The gentle mountain terrain surrounding Gålå is a popular training location for a number of ski clubs. A vast network of groomed trails is thus made available, and is ideal for recreational skiing as well as workouts.

The trails, leading through gentle terrain, offer excellent views towards the stunning alpine landscape of Jotunheimen and Rondane National Parks. Due to its location, Gålå has the Peer Gynt Trail weaving its way through its network of trails. The Peer Gynt Trail connects several of the destinations, and is ideal for visitors skiing from hotel to hotel.
