About this experience

Small island in the Oslo Fjord, close to Hovedøya. You get here by taking ferry line no. B3 (off-season: B1) from Rådhusbrygge 4 (City Hall Pier 4) in the city centre. Bleikøya is mainly an island of summer cottages, and a nature reserve covers the northern part of the island. Bleikøykalven, the northeastern "tip" of the island, is a nesting area for the Black-headed Gull, the European Herring Gull, the Common Eider and other seabirds. You are not allowed to camp or light a fire at Bleikøya. Grills can only be used on gravel or sand.
