About this experience

The Bjørnstad Ship, probably the largest rock carving in Northern Europe. It depicts one large and two small ships, the former measuring approx. 4 x 1. 5 metres. To get there, take Haugeveien (county road 583) approx. 3 km. From Hafslund Chapel, then follow the signs to the Bjørnstad Ship. After the exit, follow the gravel road until you see a signpost. If you reach the house you have gone too far. Take the footpath about 500 metres.
