About this experience

In the storage house you can see our exhibition about irrigation and grain growing – local techniques and methods which made Lom one of the wealthiest grain growing communities in the South East of Norway. Buildings in the museum include farmhouse, storage house, stables, a tenant farm and a mountain farm (seter).

During the season we have activities for children of all ages, and demonstrations of traditional baking and handicraft techniques. Lom Stave Church, which was built in the second half of the 12th century, is located nearby.
