About this experience

Visit idyllic Hadeland Folkemuseum and get a glimpse of everyday life from the past. The open air museum contains more than 30 buildings from the 17th to the 20th centuries and gives a good example of everyday life in the past. In the summertime you can walk around in our beautiful open air museum by yourself, or you can take a guided tour in the old houses or in Tingelstad old church. The museum has areas for picnicking. The cafeteria is open on Saturdays and Sundays during the summerseason. In our museum`s gift shop you can buy souvenirs, handicraft, special art wares, beverages and ice cream. cream (open whole year) Genealogy centre, open Thursdays and by appointment (not July and August).
