About this experience

Beautifully located on Lake Aremarks, just north of Aremark Church.

Arestad old parsonage is one of the village's oldest buildings from the early 18th century. Arestad was at that time the village's largest farm with 860 acres of cultivated land and 2470 acres of forest. Under the courtyard were 8 home places.

One of the county's best preserved Baroque / Renaissance gardens. Building and landscaping are owned and managed today by the Aremark Historielag. The building is rented out to companies. Guiding for groups can be arranged in the summer. Contact: Manager Harald Nilsen on mobile 99286549 or email hd-nilse@halden.net
