About this experience

Opened in 2005 the fully serviced and spacious Súðavík Camp Site is a family favourite for Icelanders and Foreign tourists alike.

Located in the ‚Äûold village‚ " of Súðavík the campsite is just meters from the famous Raggagarður Free Family Park where locals have donated their time and energy in the creation of a family play area with activities for all the family, from toddlers to grandparents, complete with a service hut and great outdoor BBQ facilities.

The campsite offers direct access to a variety of walking and hiking trails, including the iconic Kofra mountain as well as into the village of Súðavík its self where a grocery store, bank, post office and the famous Arctic Fox Centre can be found.

By road the main Westfjords town of Ísafjörður is just 15 minutes along the number 61 road to the West, while traveling to the East takes you through the magnificent fjords of Ísafjörður Djúp to Hólmavík.

We look forward to seeing you this summer.
