About this experience

Geysir Geothermal Area is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Iceland. Located in the Haukadalur Valley, it is home to the famous geyser, Strokkur, which erupts every 5-10 minutes.

Visitors can also explore the surrounding area, which is filled with bubbling hot springs, mud pools, and steaming fumaroles. The area is also home to a variety of wildlife, including the Arctic fox, reindeer, and the Icelandic horse.

There is a visitor centre nearby, where you can learn about the geology of the area and the history of geothermal energy in Iceland. You can also take a guided tour of the area, which will take you to some of the most impressive geothermal features in the area.

Geysir Geothermal Area is a must-see for any visitor to Iceland, and a great way to experience the power of nature.
