Forest skiing is an ancient and traditional way of moving in snow-covered forests. While the regular cross-country skis are used on maintained ski tracks, forest skis offer a peaceful and silent way of moving even in deep snow. Our guide will take you to Ounasvaara area few kilometres outside the Rovaniemi city center, show you how skis and ski poles are used and lead you into the snowy forest. Take an opportunity to observe animal footprints and get to know the Lappish winter nature as its best.

In the middle of the trip we will take a break and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate with marshmallows.
