Sandavágur – Slættanes – Gásadalur is a stunning hike in the Faroe Islands. It starts in the village of Sandavágur and takes you up to the highest point of the island, Slættanes. From there, you have a breathtaking view of the surrounding islands and the Atlantic Ocean. The trail then takes you down to the village of Gásadalur, where you can visit the old church and the waterfall. Along the way, you will pass through some of the most beautiful landscapes in the Faroe Islands, including lush green valleys, rugged mountains, and stunning coastal views. The hike is relatively easy, and the total distance is about 8 km. It is a great way to explore the Faroe Islands and take in the breathtaking scenery.
