About this experience

Fantastic star spot in the romantic garden.

As the castle park is in the forest, you do not have to worry about windy weather or light pollution. Remember to bring a blanket so you can lay down on the grass and look up into the endless night sky.

Although it is very dark inside the castle park and it can be difficult to navigate around without any light, it is still recommended that you do not use light if you want to look at the stars. It takes approximately 10 minutes to get night vision that you can use to find your way in the dark.

The packed starry sky over Møn and Nyord is unique. That is why Møn and Nyord were named as the Nordic region’s first Dark Sky Park and Community. In a Dark Sky Park, the night darkness is protected from local light pollution, so you have the best and clearest view of the starry sky.
