About this experience

Vorgod Church is a stunning example of Romanesque architecture, located in the small town of Vorgod in the south of Denmark. Built in the 12th century, the church is still in use today and is a popular tourist attraction. The church features a beautiful Romanesque tower, which is the oldest part of the building, and a large nave with a wooden ceiling. Inside the church, visitors can admire the many beautiful frescoes, which date back to the 16th century. The church also houses a number of interesting artifacts, including a 15th-century baptismal font and a 16th-century pulpit. Outside, visitors can explore the churchyard, which is surrounded by a wall and contains a number of old gravestones. Vorgod Church is a must-see for anyone interested in Danish history and architecture.
