Runic letters appeared in 800 year old church. .. During renovation of Ådum Church in 2003 runic letters appeared in 17 original oak rafter. The church contains a lot of beautiful furnishing; carved baroque pulpit, altarpiece in Renaissance, chairs with carvings from 1600, altar from the end of 18th century. Byt the porch entrance is runic stones. The church bell is from about 1300. A new chanel carpet was introduced in 1994, The carpet is designed by a local artist Karsten Juul Larsen and made of 18 local women.
