About this experience

In the 18th century guesthouses appeared at Gaupholmen, on Ullerøya and in Brekkestø. There was also a distillery and here too was the pilot station with 8 pilots and 10 pilot apprentices.

After artists from Oslo discovered the paradise that Sørlandet was at the turn of the century, many small guesthouses were established. This beauty spot is still very well preserved and is well worth a visit.
