About this experience

The jewel is Thornegården, dating from the end of the 18th-century.

During the Dutch trading from 1500 to 1800 this coastal town was such an important harbour that the Oslo fjord was called Zoon Water on Dutch maps.

Idyllic Son is these days attractive to the many artists who live and work here. It also attracts great activity in the sailing and wooden boat fraternities.
