About this experience

Our private charter boat tours offer an escape into nature, an adventure off the beaten track, and unique photographic opportunities. Lough Neagh is the largest freshwater lake in Ireland, the United Kingdom and the British Isles and rests in the heart of Northern Ireland. It is an outstanding natural landscape which is home to an abundance of flora and fauna, is a rich source of heritage and folklore and boasts a scenic and tranquil atmosphere which has inspired poetry, literature, art and song.

The River Bann drains from Lough Neagh at the village of Toome, County Antrim and this section of the river is known as the Lower River Bann. It meanders under bridges, past the largest wild Eel fishery in Europe, and eventually meets with the Atlantic Ocean. The Lower River Bann is a peaceful and picturesque waterway, offering a glimpse into the beauty of Ireland's natural environment.
