About this stay

Enjoy exclusive use of this peaceful, beautifully restored Edwardian house, the birthplace of the poet Dylan Thomas. It can sleep 1 to 7 people across the 4 bedrooms. Swansea centre is 1 mile away and the start of the Gower Beaches is 5 miles away.

The home which was originally owned by the Thomas family, has a retro Edwardian décor that includes a phonogram, books, newspapers of the day and games. Much of Thomas' published output was written in the house.

Apart from Dylan’s bedroom, which has been described as the first World Literary Heritage Site in Wales, there are 2 double bedrooms and a twin bedded room. On the ground floor are 3 reception rooms and a kitchen. There is a garden to the rear of the house.

Cwmdonkin Park is a short walk away. A guided house tour is undertaken on arrival and experienced guides are available for tours with Dylan Thomas Country.
