Wonderful opportunity to learn more about the traditions of reindeer herding in Lapland. This activity will grant you the chance to become a reindeer herder yourself, even just for a few hours! Take photos with the animals and experience a sledge ride!
After pickup you will be driven to a familiar traditional Reindeer farm in Levi! The reindeers are happy to act as models – take as many photos with the animals as you´d like! Local reindeer herders and farmers will be there to explain the traditions of reindeer herding lifestyle and answer all the questions you might have about the local life here in Finland. Learn, also, about how the herders know which reindeer belong to them and how the families work together as in the old times. You will also have the chance to experience a short reindeer ride! Biscuits and hot drinks will be served too!
