Throughout this frosty experience, you will learn how to catch fish while they're hiding under a 1-meter layer of ice. Together with an experience local fisherman, you will go ice fishing on a frozen lake amidst beautiful winter scenery.

You will travel 20 minutes from Rovaniemi by minivan, from where you will take a short walk to reach the lake. The main activity is of course fishing itself, but the frozen lake also offers an ideal setting for landscape and wildlife photography.

Once you reach the lake, you will be taught the basics of ice fishing before beginning your pleasant afternoon of fishing and photographing. Your guide will also set up a campfire, around which you can enjoy some hot drinks and snacks. At the conclusion of your experience, you can of course fry up your "catch of the day".
