Stora and Lilla Bolleberget
Hälsingland, SwedenFrom Lilla Bolleberget (225 m above sea level) you can view the city of Bollnäs from above with Ljusnan's valley and the blue mountains in the background. In winter, there is a slalom slope on its northeast slope and at its foot a track system for cross-country skiing.
A well-developed network of trails for hiking and walking in the summer. All to discover the area in the best way, whether you want to hike, run or cycle.
If you want to enjoy the fantastic views that Stora Bolleberget (263 m above sea level) has to offer, you can easily get there by car via a road at the back of Lilla Bolleberget. There is a magnificent northeast steep with old pines, some over 200 years old.
Stora Bolleberget is also a nature reserve and on its western side is the beautiful Bolletjärnen, which is the reserve's natural center. Here you have the opportunity to walk around the lake and by its shore there are windbreaks and barbecue sites.
At Bollnäs tourist information, there is a free folder with an overview map of Stora Bolleberget's nature reserve. It is also available digitally on the County Administrative Board's website. There you will also find information about more nature reserves in our area.
