About this experience

The people of Flatvika is an exhibition about a multigenerational family living on a typical small farm somewhere on Trøndelagskysten year 1920. At this time there is an important watershed here on the coast: The transition from the old, millennial coastal culture to our modern times.

In Flatvika they've got separator and sewing machine, and eldest boy dreaming that they will get motorboat. When you come to Flatvika, you get to meet some of those who live there. Using a Pocket PC you can hear that they talk to you and tell you their story.
