Oppdal Museum
Dovrefjell, NorwayOppdalmuseet is a rich town museum situated close to the town center. Featuring a large number of log houses, this town museum highlights life in Oppdal from the 1500’s and to the 1900’s.
The museum welcomes visitors throughout the summer season. A short walk from town center lies Oppdalmuseet. Several old, traditional buildings that give you the opportunity to study the ways of building houses from the 1500’s up until today.
During the year, and the museum focuses on being an active scene with events like crafting, tours, lunches and poetry nights.
The museum contains several displays. Among these is an exhibition from the local woodcarver Ole Moene among others, a display of skis, school-museum, and fabrics.
