Gallery Empathy is located in a rural setting on Balsnesveien. The gallery has been in operation since 1992. Since 1998, the gallery has been driven by Toril Grøtan Oksvold.

Throughout the year, there are many different exhibits, either on a theme, solo exhibitions, and group exhibitions. There are also temporary exhibitions held at Orland Blues Festival and in collaboration with Brekstad Culture Festival.

In the house right above the gallery is Torils Atelier.
