About this experience

The campsite is located right beside the Morvigfjorden, 6 km southwest from Grimstad town and is surrounded by lush forests. The sandy beach is shallow and child-friendly. The local area holds an exciting and rich history with several findings from the Stone Age and the Viking Age. As with several other camping sites along the southern coast, Morvigsanden Camping is also part of a farm. The Bakke family has run the camping since 1959. Morvigsanden Camping offers 80 pitches for tents and caravans, 14 cabins, seasonal pitches, a sandy beach, row-boat rentals, kayak rentals, crab fishing and beautiful moonshine evenings.
