The Gallery is named after a great artist. Olav Omland was fascinated by how the light emerged in nature, and the impressions nature gave. He is referred to as a skilled colourist, who was keen to try to reproduce the light and enhance the impressions and colors of nature.

He painted in the style naturalism, but you may experience both impressionism and expressionism in his very special style.
