About this experience

The walk is marked with red paint on trees and rocks. It starts with a fairly steep rise until it flattens out on top.

We pass beautiful mountain lakes on the trip, ideal for swimming for those who want. The trip is largely on track but you must also pass some marshland where it can be soft.

14 km, ca. 4 hours

The farmhouse consists of a room of basic standard. There are three beds with mattresses, cooking facilities on a gas stove. There is also a wood stove you can use and get warmed up a bit.

Water can be found in the creek just off the farm.

The trip continues to Tonstad by following the marked trail further west.

Falkefjellstøl, located on the hills between Risnes in Kvinesdal and Sirdal, is a gift to Kvinesdal and Sirdal Municipalities. Falkefjellstøl has a long and interesting history as it is in the middle of the route used by miners who took over from Sirdal to Knaben mines.
