Rjukanfossen waterfall (470 m asl) in Tovdal in Åmli municipality has a fall of 45 metres and is the highest waterfall in Agder county.

The trail to the waterfall begins at the information board in Dale, uppermost in Tovdal valley. There is a marked trail all the way.

The trail ends at the top of the plateau with a view towards the waterfall. Parking is available along the road with the roundabout. Distance: 3 km one way. NB! Please close the gates along the way!

Rjukanfossen in Tovdal has a famous namesake in Rjukan; however, the waterfall in Åmli is larger and really is a superb sight.
