How about a boattrip to Arendals most popular island - Merdø?

NB! During The dark season (September to Easter) there are no ferries to Merdø. But you can call a taxi boat at +47 95335900 at any time of the year.

The ferries Trau and Pellærn operate on Saturdays, Sundays, on the 30th of May (Ascension Day) and 9th and 10th of June (Pentecost).

Departure from Arendal10: 30, 11: 30, 12: 30, 13: 30, 14: 30 and 15: 30.

Return to Arendal11: 00, 12: 00, 13: 00, 14: 00, 15: 00 and 16: 00.

Ferries between Arendal and Merdø with the boats M/F Trau and M/S Pellærn during the summer. The boats can also be rented for private events.

M/F Trau can take 12 people, and can easily moor most destinations.

M/S Pellærn can take 38 people and can travel in the local area, to the lighthouse islands Store Torungen and Lille Torungen or Lyngør and Grimstad. Please contact the ferry company for more information.
