About this experience

2016.

Vardø, the northernmost town in Norway, is home to some of the most impressive street art in the world. Located in the Arctic Circle, the town is known as the 'Ultima Thule', or 'the end of the world'.

The street art here is a reflection of the town's unique culture and history, with many of the pieces depicting the traditional Sami culture. The art is spread throughout the town, from the harbour to the old town centre.

One of the most impressive pieces is the 'Vardøhus Fortress' mural, which was painted by the renowned street artist Pøbel in 2017. The mural is a tribute to the town's history, with the fortress being a symbol of the town's strength and resilience.

Other pieces include the 'Vardø in the Arctic' mural, which was painted by the artist Dolk in 2016, and the 'Vardø in the Arctic' mural, which was painted by the artist Dolk in 2016.
