About this experience

Hamningberg is a unique fishing village located on the Varanger Peninsula in Norway's Arctic. It is known as Ultima Thule, the furthest north settlement in Europe, and is a popular destination for tourists.

The village is surrounded by a rugged landscape of mountains, fjords, and the Barents Sea, making it a great spot for outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and bird watching. The village itself is home to a few dozen people, and visitors can explore the old wooden buildings and take in the unique atmosphere.

There is also a museum dedicated to the history of the area, and a café serving traditional Norwegian food. Hamningberg is a great place to experience the beauty of the Arctic and get a glimpse of life in a remote fishing village.
