The islands between Fitjar and Bømlo constitute a unique environment for kayaking. The area has about 350 islands and a landscape characterized by heathland. There is a great possibility that you will find your paradise on earth among the many islets, bays and shallow straits.

The closeness to the North Sea also gives the opportunity to experience rough seas and waves. We have made a map with parking facilities, shops and public campgrounds for you to download to your GPS. The map also shows the seabird/wildlife conservation areas in the islands.

Fitjar is close to E39 and only 1, 5 hours from Bergen.
