The Garborg Trail
The Stavanger Region, NorwayUse your smart phone or tablet and dive into the life and literature of Arne Garborg, one of the most important Norwegian authors at the turn of the 19th century. Through film and sound you will meet Arne Garborg himself as well as characters from his novels. The trail is found in three locations: Garborgheimen (Garborg's childhood home), Knudhaheio (Garborg's summer cabin) and Time church (where Arne Garborg's father is laid to rest). The trail consists of more than 60 QR-codes both indoors and outdoors. You can visit the whole trail or parts of it. The whole Garborg Trail is approximately 20 km. Films and audio is in Norwegian only. Mobile data must be switched on.
