This trip takes you to the beautiful Hestnes where open sea views and beautiful hiking trails are an excellent extention of a cycling trip. The stretch starts as a sidewalk along FV44 towards Sokndal. You then enter the Gamle Sokndalsveien, where you will have a partly mixed traffic for a while. By Lygre, you will join the walking and cycling path that runs almost completely to the parking lot right by the sea. Here you will find some great hiking areas that are well marked. You might want to walk a bit up the hill and have a rest while enjoying the view before you take the same route back. The trip both ways is around 8 km.
