The area includes the lakes Djupdalsvatnet (700 m. a. s. l. ) and Glupen (734 m. a. s. l. ) in the valley Djupdalen and Fremste Heitvatnet (889 m. a. s. l. ), and the river from Heivatnet to Valldøla. The first two of these lakes can be reached by paths from the farm Grønning, about 1 walk. Heivatnet lake is best reached by using the tractor road from Gudbrandsjuvet to Alstadsætra.
