If you have rented a cabin or holiday home at the West coast of Norway, and want a safe boat to get out on the sea, you can contact Sognefjord Boating. For an additional fee, you also get the boat delivered and picked up where you are. To rent and drive their largest boats, a minimum age of 16 years and a boat driver's license is required. If you were born before 1980, there is no requirement for a boat driver's license. For the smallest boat type, there is no requirement for a boat driver's license, even if you were born after 1980.
