The Arnafjord, one of the many arms of the Sognefjord, belongs to the municipality of Vik i Sogn and is situated about 20 km west from Vik. The fjord is known for its many and beautiful waterfalls. The mountains around the fjord are a natural gateway to the famous hiking area Stølsheimen. The population in Arnafjord is spread over 3 minor settlements around the fjord. Most of the people are farmers. The number of households in Arnafjord is aprox. 70. The Arnafjord is a popular destination for day trips and holidays.
